This very portable and useful system uses 2 different technologies in order to detect the counterfeit bills. The first one is ultraviolet radiation detection, at by pushing the corresponding button, one can see whether the security elements usually printed with UV sensible ink are there or not, and therefore spot fake bills immediately. The second technology is magnetic detection, which checks for the presence of metallic security elements (generally a thin metallic wire) or of magnetic ink, usually used for the numeric parts, the device emitting a loud buzz when said elements are discovered.
